Joe Ottaway, Ewelme School commented "The Haktive at Home Summer Special book has an amazing range of ideas for developing skills and getting active, even when you don't have specialist equipment. I know lots of our families have found it a really helpful resource for getting their kids active and enjoying PE during lockdown. I would thoroughly recommend it!"

As lockdown continues, we’ve also developed a more focused resource on summer activities the children would have done during the summer term, adapted so they can do them at home. LINK This is an eBook for ease of distribution and access for families. The Haktive PE Summer Special covers aspects of the National Curriculum through techniques in athletics, tennis, cricket and rounders with some fun practices and games that can all be done at home, and have been produced to only need equipment typically found at home. There is additional information about wellbeing that includes yoga poses which can be practiced to enhance their well being through these uncertain times and additional active challenges.

One Head described it as 'a great addition to the support we offer parents at this time, complementing the work we are doing for National Sports Week. It’s also a really positive way of using the Sport Premium currently.

With over 20 years teaching and volunteering experience and my own children to play with I believe this is a valuable resource to inspire children to take a challenge and be physically active, which is an essential part of well being (something we are all aiming to achieve).
